Most likely yes. For some odd reason the system doesn't succeed in
mounting the main "/" file system properly, which definitely points to
something fishy. Are there more error messages around that?
Also, have you had a look at /proc/interrupts and /proc/ioports to
determine whether there might be interrupt or port clashes?
