%-> Windows 2000 seems to like to take up residence in the MBR, much like
%-> LILO. NT 4.0 was the same way. However, using the following config
%-> under NT 4, I didn't have any trouble:
%->
%-> /dev/hda1 - NTFS C:\
%-> /dev/hda2 - NTFS D:\
%->
%-> /dev/hdb1 - /boot
%-> /dev/hdb2 - swap
%-> /dev/hdb5 - /
%->
%-> I used LILO to boot either NT or Linux, installed LILO in the
%-> MBR of hda.
%->
%-> Anyone doing similar things with Windows 2000, or did Bill's boys make
%-> things more difficult for us?

I've got a machine with RH 6.1, FreeBSD 3.4 and Win2K Server installed on
it, all accessible through LILO. In fact, it's got Win98 on the C: partition
as well. I installed Win98 first, then RH, then Win2K and lastly FreeBSD,
and thought I'd have to use dd to strip the boot sector and load with
NTLOADER. Didn't, which was a nice surprise.

Not so good is that Win2K Server isn't really usable on my pathetically
low-specced machine... only a 400MHz P2 with a measly 128MB RAM. ;-)
