It's put there by default to get over the sendmail hanging problem with a
new install.

Subject: Why is /etc/hosts being set wrong?

I've noticed twice now that 6.1 has set /etc/hosts incorrectly. I do
not remember if 6.0 got it wrong as well.

This weekend I had to reinstall Linux for a small ISP that got hacked.
After the install, something just wasn't working right and I looked at
/etc/hosts and discovered the same problem that occurred on my machine
and that was that the system name (system.domain.com) was placed on the
127.0.0.1 line and the system IP contained the default
localdomain.localdomain
stuff.

Anyone know why the install is doing that? I didn't see it mentioned on
the long list of gotcha's, but maybe it is there.

Is this a bug that needs to be reported, or is it already fixed in 6.2beta?
