General problems:
- No working configurator
- Not all chipsets that were supported in 3.* are supported
- Complete lack of testing
Known bugs after 15 minutes of trying:
- Doesn't compile in the default configuration because the makedepend
program provided with XFree86 4.0 is broken beyond repair
- Doesn't work on alpha ev56 machines
- Probably doesn't compile on sparc
