as a follow up - when dropping to V34 I get:
modprobe: can't locate module binfmt-67b8
hmm... getting modem to work happily is being an absolute nightmare.
problem is that I'm not sure if this is a problem with the 6.1 server
I have set up or the new modem we have. our old 56k modem and 5.2 /
6.0 server were working fine. also works fine with external 36.6
modem... just getting the internal v.90 to go at any sort of exciting
speed is proving a little tricky... as soon as the network load goes
up the modem chokes and dies? :(
