In playing a little with ~/.procmailrc and trying to find disappearing
mail :( I noticed that my mailfolders created in netscape messenger are
in ~/. Pine does not see these files. there is also a mailboxlist file
that does contain the name of each of the folders. I would like to
place these in another directory, probably ~/mail.

Does anyone know how to tell netscape where they are if I move them.

In the preferences for the imap mail server advanced tab I see the
following:

  IMAP server directory: <blank>
  Personal namespace: "#mh/","#mhinbox",""
  Public (Shared): "#public/","#news.","#ftp/","#shared/"
  Other users: "~"

what do the #mh/ type directives mean?
I would like to create some public folders. Where would I put them?
What does other users mean?

The netscape mail help is pretty lame and tells me if I don't know what
this stuff is the contact my admin. That is me right now for a two
person office so I asked myself and had to respond, "I don't have a
clue".

Worse yet I don't even know where to look and that is really scary for
those of you who thought that my being the admin was scary when I
mentioned it earlier.

Any help or where to look without wasting hours looking for clues in all
the wrong places.

BTW I'll dig around a little more with the procmail stuff before I
bother the list with it.

Thanks for any help,

Bret
