Hi.

In the Gnome Control Center, there is a provision to set a default
editor, which I've variously set as emacs, kwrite, etc. However, when
I double click on a file name in GNU Midnight commander, I always get
the dialog box to pick the app that I want to use to open the file.
For text files, for example, the default editor is never launched.

What am I doing wrong? How do I get the default editor to work that
way...as it does in KDE, for example.

Thanks.

John
