Seems like when I first started playing around with fetchmail I had to
have an mbox file in my home directory. you can run mail to see your
incoming mail and then 'q' out of it and it should create it if it is
not there. I don't know if touch ~/mbox would do the same but it might,
assuming this is the problem.
