OK. You need to go back to the previous screen and create a linux native
(type 83(?) if fdisk, disk druid just says Linux Native I believe). I'm
going to go on a limb and say create a 250MB or so home (you can use this to
store the RPMs and tar balls that you WILL download and won't loose them
later.) and make the rest a partition, or get creative with partitioning. I
don't see having to worry about have everything under the 1023 cylinder
limit. Or you could go one giant root partition. If only one partition,
mount point will be "/". If you go with two like I noted the smaller one
will be mounted at "/home" and the single large one at "/". You will
probably modify this as you go on in Linux.

When it comes time to set up LILO, you will probably go with it on the MBR
of /dev/hda (assuming the large drive is Primary Master and the small drive
is Primary Slave.) You can also set LILO (well you will NEED to set it up
with an entry for the 8 gig MS-DOS drive. Other mount points will be
/dev/hda to pick one "/mnt/c" or "/c" or "/win" or whatever you want.

What are your drive locations.
        8GB Primary Master
        2GB Primary Slave
        CD-ROM Secondary Master

These are the device entries
        /dev/hda Prim. Master
        /dev/hdb Prim. Slave
        /dev/hdc Sec. Master
        /dev/hdd Sec. Slave

Partition number are appended if the disk isn't one large partition. This
might be how your system (2GB drive)is set up:
        DEVICE TYPE SIZE MOUNT POINT
        /dev/hdb1 Linux Swap 127MB "swap" <--can't
remember the mount point
"name"
        /dev/hdb2 Linux Native 250MB /home
        /dev/hdb3 Linux Native 1750MB / <--guessed on size,
YMMV

Hopefully you get the idea.
