Hi everybody,
I am running into a serious problem installing either RH 6.0 or 6.1 onto
my system. Here's the description of my system:
Pentium 166MHZ, 64MB RAM
IDEĎ0 - 1.2 GB Seagate (Master on 1st IDE controller)
IDE1 - ATAPI CD-ROM (Slave on 1st IDE controller)
IDE2 - 3.4 Fujitsu Drive (Master on 2nd IDE controller)
IDE3 - 540 Samsung (Slave on 2nd IDE controller)
Windows 98 is on IDE0, Windows NT 4.0 Server is on IDE3.
Best DATA V.90 internal Modem on COM2
SB compatible sound card
NIC
Steallth S220 Video
Sony Multiscan 15sf
Attempting to install RH 6.x on IDE2 - 3.3 GB
The problem I have run into is that I cannot create /, /swap or /boot on
this drive. Any attempt will result in partition not allocated, reson
unknown.
All disks work fine under DOS, Windoes 98 and NT.
I have researched all over RH website but did not get any information
that resembles my dilemma. Please help!
