I also emailed Seagate, kind of assuming I wouldn't hear from them in
days ( a bit cynical om my part), but amazing enough I got a reply later
that day and they mailed me a url of software compatibility and it had
all Linux as being compatible.

It's a DAT drive, I'm not sure about the pin number, I saved off the
website's page on technical specs somewhere, that info should be on it.
