I'm running into some problesm with this board. I have a ASUS K7M Rev2(
The One with audio (VT something)) and a Athlon 850MHz chip. I'm also
running the GeForce 256 Card which thanks to this group got me the
information to get it running. The problem I am having now is with the
Audio. I had to go and get a clean 2.2.13 and the HPT66 patch for the
Ultra66 to run. I have that working now. I used the .config from the
RedHat stock kernel for starters and configured the kernel the same. I
also turned on support for the VT chip. I rebuilt, compiled and
installed the kernel and rebooted. The problem comes in when I try to
run soundconfig. It promptly finds the card and goes to run it and I
get the following message:
/lib/modules/2.2.13/misc/sb.o: init_module: Device or resource busy
sound: device or resource busy
sb.o: No such file or directory
I have tried manually configuring the card and just the saem messages
come up. This has been run off a clean install, so no card was setup
previously. sb.o does exist in the /lib/modules/2.2.13/misc/ directory,
so that shouldn't be a problem. Anybody got any ideas. Hope you can
help me out.
