Well, we do :-(
I mean the university I work for does. To give you an example, they have
bought a farm (of 8) Compaq Proliant 7000 servers to provide email
(Groupwise from Novell). Currently they have only 2500 users on the
system, and at times it is slow. I hate to think what will happen when
they move everyone (50,000+) to the new system......
Only one of those servers running Sendmail or Qmail or ..... could have
been doing a much better job.
And they wonder what happens to their A$M300+ annual budget???!!!!
