The ethernet cards will be better if both at say 10 & 11 , sound at 5 or 7
(depending on pport) otherwise your sound card will have priority over eth
0

The onboard card should have a way to turn it off, either jumper on the
board or some hidden thing in the bios, leaving it enabled and adding
another card will be wasting an IRQ, on the other hand it could just poor
design. From your email I guess you have looked. FWIW I hate both Matrox
and onboard cards, if there is no way to turn off, then thats strike 3 for
me...its out ! :-)


Is there really no USB ? I mean maybe its on the board but was not used
because of the model  (a guess)
