A reboot counts as runlevel 6, and 0 is shutdown (I think, might be
backwards).  All kill links are found in either rc6.d or rc0.d.  So in
a sense the service stops are automagic.

Putting a S and K script for the same process in the same rc.x
directory would definitely not work :)
