Try 'Big Brother'... just do a quick search on it... it works like a
charm and allows you to check the status of any machine from anywhere
you can use a web browser. The state of Texas uses it to monitor
hundreds of remote machines in the Dept of Ag. and it will even call up
a pager, should you configure it to. It does use httpd on the master
server and requires sendmail at least on all client machines. Really
nifty nifty FREE application.
