although there are several samba GUI browsers out there (some written 
to QT and some to GTK), not all are equal in support for browsing based 
on WINS (rather than simply browsing off of broadcast). 

LinNeighborhood seems to be the most functional samba GUI I've seen and 
supports WINS-based browsing pretty nicely once configured to do so.

Search for it at www.freshmeat.net or www.rpmfind.net and you should 
be able to find a download site for the tarball or RPM.
