I found out what the problem is. I/O conflict with scsi card.

I have an HP vectra vli server with the 3com 3c589b-tx network card in it.
I just installed RH 6.1 and everything seemed ok through the install. Upon
booting, eth0 appears to start but I can not get on the network. Ifconfig
does not see it, and if I type "ifconfig eth0 up" it says resource temporary
unavailable. I am new to Linux so all help is appreciated.
