Try doing to the terminal window, and hitting ctrl-D (Ctrl and D keys
at the same time.)  This should send an END-OF-FILE to more, so it
will terminate.  If this doesn't work, you can try a ctrl-c...

You can also kill the GNome terminal window.  I don't run GNome, so
someone else on the list will have to tell you how to use that option.
