Got the same problem with Calamity's machine, it happened last night!
when running kudzu, which DID find the Epson 740!!!! MAN! I'm
impressed!!!! Then it went and tried to reconfigure the mouse... again.
<g> We told it to leave it alone and were left with no mouse at all,
until we restarted X. PS/2 mouse is disabled in bios. If we could find
her manual, I'd check to see if we could jumper disable it. (I like
jumpers) Ric
