If you miss it, just do a dmesg and scan through the list. Partition the drive as you see necessary for your requirement (fdisk) Create the necessary Linux directory structure on the partitions (mke2fs) Create mount mounts (if not already there) Add mounting of new partitions to /etc/fstab Reboot or manually mount the new partitions. The above assumes that it is not the root partition you want to change and that there isn't any data at the new mount point.
