I connect my laptop to the network at my office, and I have set up a queue
for the printer here. When I try to send a file to the printer, the
following message is returned:
lpr: connect: Connection refused
jobs queued, but cannot start daemon.
If I become root and restart lpd, the files are sent and print
successfully. If possible I'd like to eliminate the queue-restarting
step.
