Please help - driver problem!

Hi all,

I have a problem with a driver that I need to load at install time (for
the boot device) that requires a specific version of the kernel.  I
would like to know how to make a installation boot diskette using a
version of the kernel that will allow the driver to load - can this be
done?  Is that the right approach?
