If you're using 6.1, what I did was to startx from root. Then open the
control panel from the /root screen that pops up:
/etc/X11/applnk/System/control-panel.desktop
Go to the bottom of the gnome-linuxconf screen that pops up and click on
System Configuration. From the new window that appears go to
Conf/Networking/Server Tasks. From here you'll see several submenus,
including the Apache file server, and Sendmail. You can configure them
from there.
