Not at my linux box but most documentation is under /usr/doc/  there is a
directory for each package installed.

Bound to be a howto on this look at the linux documentation project at
http://metalab.unc.edu/mdw/index.html
or the appache site at http://apache.org/ should get you started.  BTW I
have never had to do anything special to get it running in the simplest of
configs.  I selected it during install and then was able to point my
browser to the hostname (assumes some sort of name resolution but probably
working if you can ftp to the box) and would get a page that says IT
Worked! and some other rah rah stuff about documentation.  Is httpd
running?  pidof httpd should return a process id number if it is.  I
believe the default html directories are under /home/httpd/html.
