Hi all, I have a customer that today are running some of their most important buessnies on a Redhat 6.0 system. This system can not be aloud to be down for long(read - "never"). What they/we want to do is to setup 2 machines in some sort of cluster so that if one of the machines goes down then the other will begin to serve the clients. What the machine does is processing & and printing out bills, so i wonder what will happen with printer ques etc if the "primary" machine goes down ? Will a failover like "Pirahna" handle this so that printer ques etc dont be disturb ? What is needed is that the machines are in complete sync all the time, is this doable ? How does one handle backup issues, printer ques etc in a failover cluster ? Could anyone give a hint on a good solution here ? Sorry for my stupidity, i havent played anything with clusters :) Will read more docs now :) Anyway, if anyone have any good ideas of a good GPL soulution here, please send me a mail.
