What model Jet Direct card do you have?
Did you get the latest firmware update for your Jetdirect card? (G.08.04
for the J3111A)
Have you tried using rlpr? rlpr prints to a remote lpr queue without queing
it locally (so you don't need lpd running, and no setup required). They
have a quick i386 RPM-- I can link it if you're interested.
What resources did you find (I'm interested in reading the primaries)?
