something broke bad for me while re-compiling my kernel for smp. i did a make menuconfig, make dep, make clean, make zImage. i copied the kernel to /boot, backed up the old kernel(changed name to .old), and changed the name of the new kernel. now when i boot, it hangs. i tried rescue disk and got an error- "init is missing, use lilo init= to add". any ideas or am i going to have to reload. matt __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
