Peter,
You sure you have all the bits? I had Redhat 6.0, with emu10k1 running out
of the box. Then, I did an upgrade to 6.1 with the new kernel, which fuxored
my sound card, which I thought would be a simple reinstall.
However, because 6.1 doesn't think I have a sound card, because its
unsupported, it actually disables that module from the compile of the new
kernel - I had to build a new kernel following the guideance of the docs
provided with emu10k1 to get rid of the unresolved errors. Works fine now.
