Hi all I am wondering if anyone has in thier possesion a bash or perl script that will generate a html file that contains a list or list of contents from a directory? If run from /dir/somewhere I want it to create a total list of all files with some form of map (being able to specify file types to be indexed would be nice too) The second type I am looking for would do a similar thing, but would recursivly read through say the /home looking for public_html and upon finding that create a map/ page of all files within I have looked at all freshmeat entries and none do exactly as above, If you think you have something that may do similar to above, could you please email it (or me telling of its location)......
