PLEASE be advised that the multiple postings of "SO & NS PROBLEMS" is completely a mistake on my part, and was due to an issue I get with KMAIL where is (apparently) FAILS TO SEND giving error message Authenticate through POP/IMAP or SMTP first and looks like it totally fails to send, and the mesages wind up in my OUTBOX as though they failed (should go into SEND-MAIL box if successfull, and did not). I know there are issues making to many posts to one newsgroup. My apologies to everyone, and to Redhat lists.
