I keep my Netscape mail on my FAT C drive, then symlink a directory in my ~ in Linux to there, and tell Netscape in Linux to look there for mail. The downside is you need a FAT partition, and you also need to mount your DOS partition as yourself, which will exclude, maybe, other users on the system.
