First of all, did you check the postscript file itself (e.g. with gv)
whether it contains all information?
Secondly, I'm not sure if ps2pdf is susceptible to the format of the PS
file - how did you convert the HTML file: With or without html2ps' "-D"
option (i.e. with or without DSC(sp?) support)? It might be worthwhile
experimenting with that. In gv, you can see the differnce immediately:
PS files generated without "-D" don't have page numbers and you can only
browse forward.
