Oops. I meant remove the "prompt" line from /etc/lilo.conf. You can
leave the timeout there.
I think you were thinking "prompt", too. Telling lilo not to give you
the prompt does NOT remove your ability to go into single user mode.
Many people think this is the case, but it's not. If you press and hold
shift or CTRL _BEFORE_ lilo starts, it will give you the prompt. You
can then go to single user mode, or pass module parameters.
