Just a few fast notes:

1/ Check your word wrapping, the lines are falling off the screen.
2/ Tell us (me) about the disk involved: Size, brand, geometry (CHS =
Cylinders, Heads, Sectors)...

The solution might be very simple. Once you mailed the info on your disk
I'll send you the statements you'll have to add to Lilo in orther to boot.
I have had the same problem on my old portable whose BIOS recognized the
too large disk - together with Linux - but the latter couldn't install
LILO properly. Adding a few lines of text solved the problem.
