I just installed RedHat 6.1 after running 6.0 for about 7or 8 months, and
honestly I am thinking about reinstalling RH6.0. The reason for this is
that I personally am getting a lot of crashes from different programs
gEdit, gtop, and rp3 are just a few of the programs that have for no
apparent reason crashed. I also don't like the new install GUI it really
increases install time I used to be able w/ 6.0 to install in about 15 to 20
min. and that include setting up ppp and Gnome how I wanted it but 6.1 took
almost an hour to install that didn't include setting up ppp and when I did
try to set up ppp w/ the new rp3 it crashed on me halfway through. I don't
know if I am the only one having problems w/ 6.1 but if this is the way the
RedHat distro is going the I am going to look for another Linux distro to
use.. Any suggestions??
