I am having a problem configuring rsh on my RH6.1 system. While I have
rsh set up for other nodes in the network, I can not rsh to myself. In
other words, if I am on, say node1 and I issue the command rsh node1 -
the machine sits there until I hit a CTRL-C. I can say rsh node2 and I
am logged in readily. So I believe I have rsh configured somewhat
properly. I can also rsh node2, then from node2 issue the command rsh
node1 and this seems to work. But from node I can not issue the command
rsh node1. I have read the man pages and consulted the book Linux
Unleashed, but I do not find anything about this.

While this seems trivial, I have a program which needs to rsh to itself.
And a rewrite of the code is not something I wish to entertain. Thanks
for any help!

Regards,
