Is there any where where application descriptions are stored. I've been
looking on "freshmeat" and other locations and wondered what all these
applications are supposed to do? The descriptins provided in the
announcements are limited.
For instance, I see an application called "Squid." What is it? What
does it do? Why would I want to use it? There were a number of source
files with my Red Hat source CD, but I don't have any idea what they do.
ANy hints?
