Hi This used to be the case until I ran this Asus board It refuses to let me run an internal modem, a mouse and anything else I have to have the second port disabled I ran into this when I upgraded my system from my old Pentium Pro 200 I could use mouse on com 2, internal modem on com 3 and connect other stuff to com 1. However I swapped the MB and cpu and I couldnt get the modem to work anymore. Kind people at Asus told me I had to disable the port with the same IRQ as the ones I was already using or else it wouldnt work. They were right! It works now, but no other ports Thanks to the other Jason and the USB info Ill go d/l and mess with it now Ta for now Phil -- To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
