I have PartitionMagic's BootMagic installed too, to choose between
Win98 and Linux during boot up time.
I've got Bootmagic installed too, it works great for me... Did
you have Bootmagic before or after you installed linux? When, during
installation, did you choose to have Lilo reside? If you chose master,
then installed Bootmagic, as far as I know it would have wiped out bootmagic.
If, like me, you had lilo as the sole bootloader on the master partition
and then did the bootmagic way, I don't know what would happen, because
I manually changed where lilo resided before I installed bootmagic.
That is easily done using linuxconf, by the way.
After I boot Linux using a boot disk, How do I bring up the Xwindows
?
To start xwindows after boot the easiest way would be "startx"
Good luck,
