The Red Hat 6.0 boot disk was missing the via_rhine driver which is
required for your network card. You should be able to find an updated
boot disk on Red Hat's ftp site (or a mirror). The instructions for
writing a boot disk can be found on your CD-ROM (though I've forgotten
exactly which file :)
Alternatively, you can install Red Hat, and configure the card after the
system boots.
