Ok, here's one.
Get openldap up and running. Populate the directory with some OU's and
inetOrgPerson objects. Give them maildrop's and passwords.
Setup postfix with LDAP to deliver based on the LDAP lookups, and use a
Cyrus mailspool. Configure cyrus-imapd to use LDAP for its authentication.
Next setup Apache w/PHP and IMAP support and get IMP talking to the whole
thing.
That should keep you occupied for a little while. :)
