Hi, Derek,
If you went completely through the Red Hat installation routine, X
should be configured. Try 'startx' at the console prompt to get into
graphical mode. If that doesn't work, do 'xf86config' at the console
prompt to configure X for your system. It's rather straightforward.
You will need to know your monitor's horizontal and vertical refresh
rates, and the make and model of your video card. These should all be
in the vendor provided documentation. After running xf86config, do
'startx' at the console prompt and you should be in graphical mode.
