I have tried to get dircolors to work, but I can't seem to get the hang
of it. I like the colors, they make it easier to view a directory listing.
I have a major problme seeing the blue on a black screen though. This is
the default for directory listings.
Can someone give me a pretty much step by step instruction as how to set
this up. I can get a listing with the dircolors -p command. I have saved
this to a file and tried to set up dircolors by using this file, which I
changed the DIR to red, but it never takes.
I need help.
