I couldn't agree more; although my experience has taught me not to trust
vendors' closed-source drivers for Linux; simply because soon they forget
about it, and you are stuck with having to run an old kernel to use the
damn thing. I certainly opt for open-source derivers though; and yes I
vote with my wallet.
