Re RH 6.1 Printing problemm

I just managed to solve my printing problem.. RH 6.1 Kernel 2.x



First I placed the lines in conf.modules as suggested and that got the
printer detected but,

          I still could not
print normally.


Dowloaded & installed  the latest isapnp  tools package from
metalab but still didn't fix the problem.

          In fact you should
skip this altogether if you can
 


Then I uncommented the lines in /etc/isapnp.gone and set the irqs in BIOS
to correspond with

          the  /etc/isapnp.gone 
settings  and Eh! Voila!  I can print§
 
Try it it may work for you...
