Hello! The question is: how to copy a file with cyrillic letters in the name to a vfat disk? What happens is that when I have a file with the name in cyrillics on my vfat partition(s), created by W95, it is perfectly well visible in Linux; however, if I create a file with cyrillics in its name in Linux and copy it to a vfat partition, it is still perfectly well visible from Linux, but appears with funny symbols in the name (and canot be opened) from W95. The relevant lines in /etc/fstab are of the form /dev/hda1 /C vfat iocharset=koi8-r 0 0 Regards, Oleg -- To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
