Have you looked at TogetherJ. It is a fairly nice product and is
downloadable at http://www.togethersoft.com

The system requirements for linux are:

Linux version: Redhat 6.0 with GNOME desktop or WindowMaker window manager,
or any other Linux distro with glibc 2.1. Note that glibc 2.0 will not allow
IBM JDK to work-- it is obsolete.

Memory: Recommended minimum 128MB.

Java Virtual Machine (VM) Information for UNIX platforms
Together has been tested on the following Java VMS under UNIX systems:

Intel x86, Linux:
Sun JDK port by Randy Chapman and Steve Byrne, versions 1.1.7_v1a and
1.1.7_v3.

IBM JDK 1.1.8
Recommended: IBM JDK 1.1.8 (http://alphaworks.ibm.com). It works in Redhat
6.0 with GNOME desktop or WindowMaker window manager, or any other Linux
version with glibc 2.1. glibc 2.0 will not allow IBM JDK to work, it is
obsolete. If you are running glibc 2.0, use Blackdown's JDK 1.1.7_v1a or
1.1.7_v3.
