Hello!

"things" have changed on my system w.r.t. the mailcap file.

I have an entry in my ~/.mailcap file which reads:

text/html;netscape %s

I'm sure this worked in the fairly recent past, but now when I use it, it
seems that mutt will remove the file in /tmp before netscape has a chance to
read it. That puts me back to saving the file by hand and looking at it that
way -- no fun.

I am sure it worked before, but I can't recall when for sure. I've upgraded
from 5.2 to 6.1 and we're into the year 2000 (though I seriously doubt that's
the problem).

Any advice would be appreciated.

-Michael

mutt 1.0i.egcs (built from source)
metamail 2.7
netscape 4.61

No, my friend, the way to have good and safe government, is not to trust it
all to one, but to divide it among the many, distributing to every one exactly
the functions he is competent to. It is by dividing and subdividing these
republics from the national one down through all its subordinations, until it
ends in the administration of every man's farm by himself; by placing under
every one what his own eye may superintend, that all will be done for the
best.
