If your card is running OK, the only thing you have to do it to hook up your cable 
modem to it.

You also have to configure your system tu use PCMCIA, setup your 
/etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-eth0 to assign the right IP provided by 
your ISP.

they very often use dhcp, so you will have to say

BOOTPROTO=dhcp

Or try to use linuxconf to do it for you.
